DPI&F and DNRM&W Pavilion
Land and Water Pavilion The Land and Water Pavilion (site D) is in the hub of the AgroTrend Field Day site.
In 2008 we invite you to visit our Pavilion and experience the Regional Science Expo. We will demonstrate to you the value of science to our region. There is the science that grows our food, the science that protects our environment and the science that manages pests and diseases.
The interactive science display will interest both young and older visitors with plenty to touch and think about.
Join in with the Fresh is Best creative food snacks promotion. See how eating fresh local produce can help you achieve your healthy living goals. The displays in the Pavilion will showcase research and extension work done in the Bundaberg region. Meet the people who work in the horticultural, grain, sugar, beef and fish industries.

Would a low interest loan or financial assistance package help you out in your farming or fishing business? Queensland Rural Adjustment Authority (QRAA) has productivity loans, vegetation management financial assistance, exceptional circumstances funds, drought loans, natural disaster assistance, training subsidies, small business emergency support and support for fishers and related businesses affected by the GBR Marine Park rezoning.
Doug Johnstone, QRAA’s Client Liaison Officer, will be on site in the Land & Water Pavilion at AgroTrend to discuss the programs available and how to apply for assistance.
DPI&F's Farm Financial Counsellor will also be on site to discuss the free financial services offered by the Department.
Attention all land holders
If you are wanting to clear vegetation on your property and would like to know what restrictions apply, come along and talk to our vegetation management officers about remnant vegetation.
If you are wanting to install a bore on your property, the Burnett Water Resource Plan has been amended to includes groundwater and new rules are in place for the management of groundwater within the Bundaberg area. Come and see us to get facts sheets or more information.
