Paul burst onto the country music scene with his debut single 'After Tonight' which was a multiple top 5 charting success. Reaching number 2 on the Kix Network Top 20, number 2 on the Hot Country Networks top 50, and climbing to #6 on Brisbane's 98.9FM All Australian Top 20.
Bundaberg residents will be able to judge for themselves when Cowderoy arrives in the rum city to perform at AgroTrend, to be held from April 12-14.
"It's exciting for me to come out here - it's a bit of an honour," the 35-year-old said.
Cowderoy said Bundaberg reminded him a lot of his childhood growing up on a cane farm.
He will sing the Australian anthem at the AgroTrend rodeo on the Friday night and will also perform a 30-minute set on Saturday night.
In 2011 Paul was a finalist at the Australian Independent Country Music Awards in Mildura and just recently was a finalist in the 2012 Toyota Star Maker. Whilst in Tamworth Paul was awarded the Australian Country Music People's Choice award for most Promising Future Star, and was also the winner of the Channel C 'Sapphire Shoe Award' for the best new talent. Not bad for a boy from Murwillumbah who grew up on his fathers sugar cane farm dreaming of the day he would share his passion with country music fans across the country.
Paul's debut album will be released in April 2012.

Bush Poetry, Ballads and Yarns Shows
The art of Storytelling is as old as the first inhabitants of this land. From the time of early aboriginal dreamtime, down to the first white pioneer settlers, the art of sharing the tales of this countries many colourful characters and its way of life has been carried on down to our day.
Following in the footsteps of Henry Lawson, Banjo Paterson, Kath Walker, Slim Dusty, Stan Coster and Keith Garvey, Bush Poets and Yarnspinners, Chris and The Grey aka Chris and Merv Webster will be hosting their Bush Poetry, Ballads and Yarns Show. Joining them will be special guest artist, bush poet Gary Lowe, one of Australia’s funniest performing poets, and Bush Balladeers, Buddy Thomson and Lynne Bennett to share the Laughter and Tears of the Bush of this great country of ours.
