Paul Cowderoy

Paul burst onto the country music scene with his debut single 'After Tonight' which was a multiple top 5 charting success. Reaching number 2 on the Kix Network Top 20, number 2 on the Hot Country Networks top 50, and climbing to #6 on Brisbane's 98.9FM All Australian Top 20.

Bundaberg residents will be able to judge for themselves when Cowderoy arrives in the rum city to perform at AgroTrend, to be held from April 12-14.

"It's exciting for me to come out here - it's a bit of an honour," the 35-year-old said.

Cowderoy said Bundaberg reminded him a lot of his childhood growing up on a cane farm.

He will sing the Australian anthem at the AgroTrend rodeo on the Friday night and will also perform a 30-minute set on Saturday night.

In 2011 Paul was a finalist at the Australian Independent Country Music Awards in Mildura and just recently was a finalist in the 2012 Toyota Star Maker. Whilst in Tamworth Paul was awarded the Australian Country Music People's Choice award for most Promising Future Star, and was also the winner of the Channel C 'Sapphire Shoe Award' for the best new talent. Not bad for a boy from Murwillumbah who grew up on his fathers sugar cane farm dreaming of the day he would share his passion with country music fans across the country.

Paul's debut album will be released in April 2012.
