Agrotrend Celebrates 40 Years with the Return of Agricultural Businesses

This year will see the celebration of a milestone in Bundaberg as Agrotrend hits 40 years.

Agrotrend bases it’s foundation on celebrating all things agricultural. The Rotary Club of Bundaberg are pleased with the success of the event last year and look forward to presenting a new program very much focused on our agricultural industry.

“The Bundaberg Region is home to a large and productive region of southern Queensland. The primary economic driver of the commercial hubs of Bundaberg, Childers and Gin Gin is agriculture and horticulture making Agrotrend Bundaberg the ideal location for a field day event” said Ainsley Gatley, Event Manager.

“Last year we had a 30% increase in exhibitors and this year is already shaping up well with new and returning exhibitors securing their site” said Ainsley.

McDonald Murphy Machinery Bundaberg has remained with Agrotrend over the years showcasing CASE and Deutz-Fahr and will once again be showcased at Agrotrend. Last year Vanderfields returned to the event bringing back the ever popular John Deere products. This year Seng’s Sales and Service are the new AGCO dealers for Bundaberg and surrounding districts and will be attending the two day field day. Seng's bring with them well established AGCO brands Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Challenger, Iseki and Valtra.

“Agrotrend is about our farming families and community and it is great to see these agricultural specific businesses coming back. Sites are still available so now is a good time to show your support to the Rotary club of Bundaberg who work hard to put this event together each year” said Ainsley Gatley, Event Manager.

Bundaberg Canegrowers and Bundaberg Fruit and Vegetables have once again committed to returning to the event this year. The Bundaberg Canegrowers will be holding their annual CaneTrends event commencing and finishing at Agrotrend on the Friday.

Free presentations will be held in the Main Pavilion on Friday and Saturday and anyone interested in presenting for 15 – 20 minutes are invited to contact Ainsley.
